There are various ways to recover deleted emails on your iPhone. You can try to access your iCloud or iTunes backup, or you can try to recover them from the Mail app. Then there is a third option: you can try to restore from the phone’s storage.
Recover from Gmail
If you want to recover deleted emails on your iPhone, there are a few steps you can take. The first step is to open the Mail app. You’ll need to select an account to retrieve the emails from.
Next, you’ll need to sign into your Gmail account. From here, you can either move the emails to your inbox, or archive them. If you choose to restore them, you’ll need to provide the name and date of the email you’re looking to retrieve. Then, you’ll need to submit a ticket to Google Support.
Finally, you’ll need to choose a date range. You can search the All Mail tab for keywords to help you find the emails you’re looking for. You’ll also need to check the Bin and Trash folders. If there’s no content on the email, you’ll want to click Undo.
You can access your recovered emails from the Mail app on your iPhone, or even through your Mac. You’ll need to sign in to your Gmail account and select a data type. You can then search your emails by topic.
If you’ve tried these methods and still can’t find the email you need, you might need to contact the Google Support team. They can use special administrative tools to help you recover your lost emails. They can also help you if you are unable to recover your emails from your iPhone or if you are unable to locate the Trash or bin folders.
Recover from iTunes backup
If you delete an email on your iPhone and have an iCloud or iTunes backup, you can get back your email. You can also restore other deleted items on your iPhone, such as photos, contacts, and notes. Regardless of which type of data you need to recover, there are a few things you should know.
First, you need to open iCloud or iTunes and choose a backup you want to recover. You can either do this manually or use software. When you select the backup, you can preview what is in it. You can also pick out the files you need to recover.
You can recover your deleted emails by using the Shaking feature of the iPhone email app. To do so, you simply need to shake your device right after you’ve deleted an email. If you don’t, you won’t be able to retrieve the email.
If you can’t access the emails you need, you may need to restore your iPhone from an older version of iOS. Restoring from an older version will only restore most of your data.
Recover from iCloud backup
If you have deleted emails on your iPhone, it may be possible to recover them from an iCloud backup. However, this will require some additional steps. Some services do not keep deleted messages for more than 30 days.
The first step is to connect your device to your computer. You can use a USB cable to do this. If iTunes does not open automatically, you will need to launch it. Alternatively, you can use AirDrop to send files.
Next, you need to log into your iCloud account. You should have access to your account from a computer or desktop. If you do not, you will need to sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Now, you should be able to view your Mail app. You can preview the data that you have deleted, or you can choose to restore the data. If you are not sure which files you want to recover, you can select the Restore All Files option.
If you have deleted a lot of emails and have a backup, it might be worth your while to try this method. However, be aware that you might end up deleting some important emails in the process. If you do not want to delete them, you can simply choose to move them to a folder.
Recover from junk or archived emails in the Mail app
If you accidentally deleted an email or archived it, you can easily recover it in the Mail app. But before you do so, you need to locate the email first. Then you can move it to a folder of your choice.
Gmail users can search for an email with keywords or subject lines. They can also use the search bar. If the email was archived, it will be moved to an All Mail folder. But if the email has not been archived, it will be moved to Trash.
If you have deleted an email, but you want to keep it, you can try to move it to an Archive mailbox. This will store the message in a separate location, but it will remain indexed. You can then retrieve the message by tapping the Inbox folder. You will then see a pop-up that says “Undo.” This will allow you to reverse the process.
If you are using Apple Mail, you will need to find the “Mailbox” option. This is located in the upper-left corner of the Mail app. You can also access the same menu by swiping left from the left edge of the screen.
The Trash option is located next to the trashcan icon. If you choose Trash, the email will be permanently deleted. If you want to keep it, you can tap the Trash icon.
To restore the email, you need to open the settings of the app. Then you will be able to import the emails back into your account. In the meantime, you can still view the list of your deleted messages.
You can also change the Archive swipe action in the General settings of the app. Alternatively, you can just choose to recover the email instead.
To start the recovery process, you must go to the Menu. You can then open the All Inboxes screen. You can then choose your email account and follow the steps above. If you don’t have an account, you can create an account to access the Mail app.
The Mail app is available for both iOS and Mac users. The following instructions are a guide on how to recover an archived or junk email in the Mail app.
