Dr Steven Stratis is an Australian-based health professional who has over 15 years of experience in Dental and Prosthodontics. He has also been involved in teaching under and postgraduate students in various capacities ranging from clinical demonstrator to Adjunct Senior Lecturer positions. He has been practicing dentistry for over a decade in Australia, the UK and the United States, having worked on several projects in his career.
During her tenure in WWE, Stratus won the Women’s Championship four times, including once in a Triple Threat match against Lita and Victoria Guerrero at WrestleMania XXVII. She also competed in the first ever all-female Royal Rumble match in October of that year, winning the event with a tag team victory alongside Trish Stratus and Mickie James.
Following her initial retirement from full-time wrestling, Stratus returned to the sport on a part-time basis in late 2008 and early 2009, making sporadic appearances on Raw and SmackDown. In the latter, she helped stop LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool) from attacking Kelly Kelly, and then faced Guerrero in a singles match at Backlash that was disrupted by Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison.
She would then capture the Women’s Championship for a fifth time at Bad Blood, defeating Guerrero and Jazz in a triple-threat match. Stratus would then defend the title against multiple challengers until she suffered a legitimate broken hand in July, forcing her to vacate the title. She returned to the ring at New Year’s Revolution with a brand new partner in Lita, who would help her retain the championship.
In ‘Liquescent,’ Stratis expertly uses contrasting tones and sculpting, as well as fluid VFX, to create a captivating piece of artwork that engages viewers on an emotional level. Its deliberate ambiguity allows for each viewer to interpret the artwork in their own unique way, allowing them to connect with it on a deeper level.
‘Tides of Blu’ conveys the tranquility and power of ocean tides through the use of evocative color combinations, a sense of movement, and expertly crafted sculpting. Its fluid VFX and flowing lines accentuate the sweeping motion of the waves, creating an immersive experience for viewers.
Stratis is an accomplished composer and pianist who explores the connection between composition and improvisation. He has led his own improvised ensembles and collaborated with artists from various genres. He has organized and curated music series including the Pentiment Series based in Philadelphia, PA and Noise Night, a free-improvisation session in Boston. He has recorded with harpsichordist Ben Katz, violinist Noemi Gasparini, and Anthony Coleman’s NEC ensemble Survivors Breakfast. He has also performed with the duo Piano & Voice and the band PrncX.
